Overview

Coqê-deretè Bî was founded durring the early 9th century, by Glëgfêv Zesmthëm. The establishment of Coqê-deretè Bî was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Coqê-deretè Bî's construction back out of the project. Glëgfêv Zesmthëm pushed on reguardles, and Coqê-deretè Bî was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Coqê-deretè Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Coqê-deretè Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Coqê-deretè Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad gravel streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Coqê-deretè Bî's size could have. The well-designed, yet cheep has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Coqê-deretè Bî, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all preforming the same rituals to bless and anoint building,s streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holysymbols is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This town certainly loves its god.
